Thimble Pendant, Vintage Porcelain Red & White Farm Scene Thimble - K0065

This adorable pendant was once a vintage porcelain collector thimble! It measures 1in high.

People went crazy collecting thimbles years ago, and would display them in wood cases that had hundreds of tiny cubbies. Collections included birds, cities, states, and flowers, as well as souvenirs from national parks and other popular vacation destinations.

To make the pendant, I carefully drill a hole in the top of the thimble, and then create a bail out of sterling silver wire, beads and other findings. Since this is a real vintage item, there may be a few scratches and scuffs, or some minor chipping and crazing of the porcelain. Consider it part of its vintage charm!

A 17"-18" ribbon/cord necklace is included.
